Hannah Janzen is a talented freelance book designer who needed to stand out from her competitors to help her flourish in her business.
Researching her competitors showed that the majority preferred to stick to simple sans serifs to emit a neutral look. As such, we decided to go with the very opposite: a classical, ornamental approach.
After working out several ideas and aesthetics, we decided on a selection of elements which can be used interchangeably: two monograms, custom logotype, and a set of ornaments. All of these have different variations for various applications and optical sizes, and can be used in variable color schemes.
The final identity is bespoke and with an eye for detail, much like Hannah’s work.
